Dover Real Estate
Dover is a small, primarily residential community in Bonner County. With a population of less than 1,000 residents, Dover spans across a total of just over 3 square miles.
Dover got its start from being home to the Dover Lumber Company during the very early 1900’s, which is also where it inherited its namesake. Over the years after mills and churches were erected, the population grew. In the year 1988 Dover officially became Idaho’s 199th city. In 2005 City Hall was built and plans for Dover Bay were approved for a 500 unit waterfront resort community situated along Lake Pend Oreille.
